About Galili Nature and Tourism

Galili nature and tourism has been operating throughout the Hula Valley and Upper Galilee for over a decade. The company was the first in the world to conceive, manufacture and operate the Hidden Wagon Safari Ride, that roam the heart of the wildness areas of Agamon HaHula, and are considered the center-attraction of the Agamon in particular and of the Hula Valley in general.

Managed by Eli and Tali Galili, the company employs a team of professional guides, and operates a wide range of tourist services – tours, teambuilding, safari trips and other attractions. To this day, the company has hosted thousands of travelers and nature lovers in the hula Valley, and is constantly developing new tourism and leisure products aimed for families, school children, organized groups, nature lovers, photographers and birdwatchers.

Eli Galili, a known and esteemed authentic Galilean, personally accompanies a significant portion of the trips and tours, and is an endless source of knowledge regarding the valley and its wildlife. Eli was among the initiators and leaders of the project to prevent crane-induced-damages in the hula Valley. The project was initiated in response to the heavy agricultural losses caused by the massive flocks of cranes migrating through the area. It operates in collaboration with farmers, JNF (Jewish National Fund - KKL), SPNI (Society for Protection of Nature in Israel), green-bodies and private companies.

Over the past few years Eli Galili has been industriously working on acclimatizing unique wild plants and habituating them into cultivated species. A'kub (Gundelia tournefortii L.) and Autumn Mandrake (Mandragora autumnalis) are the first two plants to be acclimatized, and are currently growing in the fields of the Galilee for culinary and medicinal purposes.
